Dr. Karla Calumet
PhD
Throughout my lifetime, I’ve been privileged to walk with individuals, couples and families on their journeys as they have faced life transitions, difficult challenges and loss within their lives. As a young mother, our five-year-old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes which was life-changing for our young family. Understanding and empowering individuals to be hopeful in the midst of what seems impossible is something that I believe comes from my own experiences, education, training and relationship with God. It is from these collective experiences that I have pursued the role of a Marriage and Family Therapist. To walk with others and offer them the opportunity for hope, healing and encouragement as they embrace their lives in the midst of uncertainty and change. It is a privilege I am most grateful to embrace.
