I know life can be hard. As a childhood abuse survivor, I know what kind of shame can result from years of maltreatment. It is the kind of shame that I hope to help my clients overcome. Despite the difficulties in life, I’ve found strength in my faith, supportive friendships, and actively restoring broken relationships within my own family. My desire as a therapist is to help my clients find that same resilience in their own individual challenges and sufferings. My favorite bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17 because I know that no matter what each of us face, even in the valley of the shadow of death, there is a wonderful new creation within us waiting to be found!
