As a practicing therapist that enjoys and believes in helping you to recognize the positive inner voice in you, it is important that I let you know something about you. There is more to you than you think.
YOU have, YOU have, “YOU HAVE” the ability to tap into your inner self, your inner strength, resilience, to change things such as negative self talk. Negative thoughts and or fears can sabotage your growth and your ability to move forward against negativity that can haunt you and try to still your thinking flexibility.
Has your inner self been compromised by overwhelming negative self talk and thoughts that resemble or look like some of the following?
I can’t do anything right.
I deserve what I get.
I’m hopeless.
I’m not good enough.
I’m not whatever society or others say I need to be.
I don’t fit in.
Have you become disconnected from your inner self or who you really are?
Have been trained to believe what you are told by others about yourself?
Just know that what you are made up of on the inside, your purpose in life, values, worth, vision, dreams, ideas, goals, motivations, and beliefs are you and not what your outside environment has lead you to believe is appropriate for you.
You must be able to hear your voice first so that you don’t allow others to blind side you.
